As a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner with Doctiplus, Tampa, Florida, I focus on giving warm and customized care to senior citizens. I assist seniors with the management of their health and help them age positively and healthily. I and the family members of the patients I take care of collaborate to develop customized care schemes to help these members of the elderly population manage the chronic diseases and their health, and take preventive action.
As a member of the Doctiplus particpate system, I am afforded the opportunity to provide care that is less fractured and more patient centered. As I help my patients take control of their health, I focus on making sure that my patients have what they need to age with their grace and independence.
I do my best to make sure that the care I provide to my patients, especially those that are purely geriatric, is the best and most evidenced care possible. I focus on keeping my self well informed on the changes that take place within the fields of geriatric care.
